The Brief: Refreshing Social Media for the Academic Year

This year, Fearless Media partnered with Pulse College to create a refreshed suite of social media content ahead of the upcoming academic year.

The goal was simple:

  • Showcase the college through the students’ perspective
  • Highlight the diversity of courses and creative pathways
  • Build a bank of engaging, social-first video content
  • Support ongoing marketing across Instagram, Facebook, and digital campaigns throughout 2026

Our Approach: Student-Led Storytelling

Rather than taking a traditional promotional approach, we focused on authentic, student-driven storytelling.

We conducted interviews with students across key disciplines, including:

This approach allowed us to capture:

By prioritising authenticity, the content feels native to social platforms — increasing engagement and relatability.

Deliverables: A Full Social Content Catalogue

From the shoot, we developed a catalogue of video content designed for long-term use across Pulse College’s social channels.

This included:

  • Short-form vertical videos (9:16) for social media
  • Interview-led content with b-roll overlays
  • Student testimonial clips
  • General brand awareness videos

These assets will be rolled out across Pulse College’s channels throughout 2026, supporting both organic content and paid campaigns.
