Ireland's first college content competition. Shoot, edit, and pitch your way into a 12-month internship with Thomas Arnold — no CV required.
We're not looking at your CV. We're looking at whether you can shoot, edit, and hold a room — because that's the actual job.
Real work with a real client roster, a year alongside Thomas, and a portfolio built on actual paid briefs — not internal make-work. Plus €1,000 in your account before you've clocked a single hour.
College students based in Dublin who are camera-confident, sharp on TikTok/Instagram/YouTube, and obsessed with trends, editing and storytelling. Marketing degree optional. Instinct isn't.
Win, and you're not shadowing — you're shipping content for Fearless clients from week one, with Thomas as your day-to-day.

Every entry gets scored on camera presence, hook and editing instinct, and team fit. Only the strongest ten are invited to the final.
A real client brief in the morning, a few hours to shoot and edit on-site, then present to the room. This is the actual job, compressed into one day.
Same day, on camera. You start the internship shortly after, working directly with Thomas and the Fearless team.
Only ten creators make it to the live final at The Playground. Getting picked is the hard part — and it opens doors well past the one prize.
Out of every entry we get, ten people get the call. That shortlist is the credential — it says you were one of the ten strongest student creators who applied.
The final isn't a queue of interviews. Ten creators spend the day at The Playground scripting, shooting, editing and pitching alongside each other — everyone there is chasing the same thing you are.
Finalists can opt into the Fearless Media community group, where we share briefs, paid work and openings as they come up. Joining is entirely optional, and you can leave whenever you want.
Partner brands back the day and bring their own internships, freelance briefs and commissions. Tick the box on the form and we can introduce you — it's optional and has no bearing on the judging.
Personality and instinct outweigh production value — every category below matters more than how expensive your setup is.
One 45–60 second vertical video answering "Why should Fearless Media choose you?", a link to the best piece of content you've already made, and a short set of written questions about the creators and brands you rate. That's it — no CV, no cover letter.
No. A phone is more than enough. Production quality is deliberately the lowest-weighted thing we score — personality, camera confidence and creativity together make up 65% of the marks. We'd rather see a sharp idea shot on an iPhone than a dull one shot on a cinema camera.
Not at all. We're open to any student enrolled at a college or university in Ireland, whatever you're studying. Editors, photographers, podcasters, comedy accounts, sports pages — if you make things people actually watch, you're the right fit.
Finalists come into The Playground, Fearless Media's Dublin office. You get a real client brief in the morning, a few hours to script, shoot and edit on-site, and then you present your cut to the room. The winner is announced the same day, on camera.
A 12-month internship at roughly 20 hours a week, working directly with Thomas Arnold on real client content, plus a €1,000 signing bonus. Full terms are confirmed in writing with the winner before anything starts.
Only if you say yes. The application form has a consent tickbox — strong entries may be reposted on Fearless's channels during the competition, and plenty of entrants want that reach. If you'd rather keep your entry private, leave it unticked and it stays between us.
Fill in the form below — 45 to 60 seconds of vertical video, a few questions, and you're in.
The form can't be displayed here. Some browsers and embedded previews block third-party frames — it opens fine in its own tab.
